U.S. grain and soy review: Corn sinks on lack of fresh demand

  • U.S. grain futures tumbled Monday as traders looking for more evidence of corn sales to China came up empty. Corn for May delivery, the most-actively traded contract, closed down 18 1/2 cents, or 2.7%, at $6.71 a bushel at the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat and soybean futures also weakened.
