China: Soybean imports down 12% in March
China imported 3.51 million tons of soybean in March, down 12.44 percent year-on-year, at an average price of $592.96 per ton, according to the General Administration of Customs Thursday. Of this, the US was the biggest source at 3.44 million tons, followed by Brazil and Canada. The March figure pushed China's soybean imports during the first quarter to 10.96 million tons, a drop of 0.66
