India to produce 100 million metric tons of rice next crop year
NEW DELHI (Commodity Online) : World's second largest rice producer India expect another bumper output this crop year and set a target of 100 million metric tons for next crop year. According to country's agriculture ministry, this year India's country's rice production is estimated at 94.01 million tons as against 89.09 million tonnes last year. India's next crop year starts from July.
