US corn exports being redirected in Japan
American stockfeed lobby group, the US Grains Council, says millions of tonnes of corn heading to Japan may have to be redirected. Fifteen million tonnes of corn are sent to Japan per year, and shipments had been heading to damaged ports in devastated regions. US Grain Council's Erick Erickson says it's still hard to find out what's going on, nearly two weeks since the earthquake and tsunami.
